🎵 Getting Started
Memtastic helps children and adults memorize songs or any other text through interactive word hiding.
📝 Creating Songs
- Click "Switch Song" to open the song picker
- Click "Create New Song" to add lyrics
- Paste or type song lyrics line by line
- Give your song a memorable name
🧩 Lyrics Format
- Blank line between verses starts a new page.
- Add emoji to a word with parens:
word(🎵) - Use gospel symbols with
(!key), e.g.(!service) - Keep phrases together with underscores:
Billy_Jeanrenders as "Billy Jean" but stays one clickable word.
🎮 Using the Controls
- Visibility Slider: What percentage of words are hidden
- Font Size (⚙️): Adjust text size for better readability
- Shuffle: Randomize which words are hidden
- Display Window: Open a separate window for TVs or projectors
✨ Interactive Features
- Click any word to toggle hidden/visible
- Hidden words show colorful backgrounds
- Both windows stay synchronized
💡 Learning Tips
- Start with 100% visible, then gradually decrease
- Use shuffle to practice different word combinations
- Let kids choose which words to hide for engagement
- Use the display window for group singing, projected on a TV
